How will we support you?

Whether you work for an employer and are taking part in an employer sponsored training programme delivered by us, or you are a learner attending one of our courses in your own time, we will support you through your entire learning journey.  We believe learning should be fun, stimulating and lead to meaningful change.

Once you are enrolled on your programme with Talent Training, one of our brilliant Training Advisors will help you identify your training needs and provide appropriate training to achieve your qualification aims. They will help you identify evidence for your qualifications and assess your skills and knowledge against the qualification standards.

We have a national team of Quality Advisors (sometimes known as Internal Verifiers) who oversee the training and assessment programme at all stages. Their role is to ensure that you are supported and assessed openly and fairly.

What are apprenticeships?

Apprenticeships are jobs with training for ambitious people of all ages who want to earn while they learn, gaining transferable skills and knowledge. For employers they are a great way to develop talent tailored to business needs – whether supporting recruitment or developing the existing workforce.

Most of the training is on-the-job, learning job specific skills in the workplace. Off-the-job training varies by occupational area and the requirements of the employer.

Apprenticeships are available in 1500 occupations across 170 industries to businesses of all sizes, lasting between 12 months and five years.

What is Pre-Employment training?

Pre-employment training is designed to meet the needs and requirements of job seekers, to provide them with a programme of learning which prepares them for employment and which teaches them the skills, attitudes and behaviours to ensure their progress into work is seamless. Not only that, learners will achieve relevant qualifications to support them now and in the future.

Our programmes are sector focused; meaning individuals can access a course which prepares them for work in a specific industry, with a pre-determined employer.

We work with a large number of employers to ensure that we can access job opportunities that support our pre-employment courses, providing individuals with a route-way to a job.
