Here at HarperCo, we love to get involved with charity work. Recently, our client Santander organised a 527 mile bike ride from Glasgow to Milton Keynes, and it is something that we needed to be a part of.

The bike ride was set up for the sole purpose of raising funds for Santander’s charity partners; Barnardo’s and Age UK. The Cycle Challenge set a minimum target of £100 per leg, and Santander are going to match whatever the total amount it.

With the good work that The Cycle Challenge was doing, we wanted to get engaged with the cause, so we offered to sponsor Santander, but this wasn’t the only offer on the table. Between Berwick and Bishop Auckland, the cyclists only made one stop in South Tyneside, and this was at the HarperCo offices.

To celebrate this, we put on a spread which included a tasty mixture of pastries, and beverages to ensure that the cyclists stay energised and hydrated! We invited along the local press, and representatives from Barnardo’s and Age UK so everyone could rejoice in the brilliant work being carried out.

The Flame Relay Cycle Challenge is continuing up until the end of this week, and you can still help with the fundraising. Below are all the links for the Just Giving pages.
